Men respect power: they seek it and they respond to it. Confident, mature men are not intimidated by women with power. They are in fact drawn to power.

Only the weak, insecure and sexually immature man would seek to supress a woman. The stronger man is looking for a loving, sharing partnership and values the opinions, ideas and suggestions of his female equal.

 

Power dressing actually works. Many women, though, fail to do it properly and tend to exaggerate their attire, with an often absurd outcome. Hyperbolic outfits are a pantomime parody of power dressing:

• towering heels
• animal print
• 1980's hair
• patent leather
• leather clothing
• short skirts
• bare legs
• overly tight clothing
• boots
• low cut top revealing the cleavage
• visible bra
• visible panty line
• experimental haircuts
• too much jewellery
• cheap wristwatch
• too much make-up

Remember: you need to look as though you are not trying. Try too hard and you look trashy and obvious. Understated power dressing accomplishes the effect without appearing to be power dressing at all.





 

 

Body language is very important. Men respond strongly to how women stand, walk and sit. Confidence inspires confidence in you. Don't slouch, don't lean and don't mumble.

 

Do some exercise. Ideally, learn how to dance. Tango outfits and footwear exemplify femininity. Learn poise and grace and controlled movement; these are all highly seductive and powerful.

 

Discover how to walk in a feminine fashion; one foot in front of the other one, in heels, with a relaxed but upright spine, eyes ahead and good comportment. Young ladies once attended Finishing School to polish these skills, so recognise how important they are.

 

Sit upright always and remember to cross your legs slowly and deliberately. If you cannot hear the rasp of nylon, you are not doing it slowly enough for the man to hear.

 

When getting up, uncross your legs and press your knees together. Slide your pelvis to one side, keeping the knees firmly together and then once free of the dinner table, get up in one movement.

 

If a man offers you his help, always take it. Let him lift for you, hold doors for you, remove your coat, your shoes and aid you up a step. That way, his chivalry is training good habits of quiet refined servitude. He is essentially waiting on you and this is always a delight.

 

Don't be tempted to play mother. Men leave home to get away from their mother. Decide whether or not you want to be a lover or a mother because you can't be both. Your choice will determine the type of man you attract.
